Whether you’re visiting from elsewhere in the UK, the United States or another country, I can arrange an enjoyable guided fishing experience without you needing to bring your own tackle.
I can select a suitable local lake, provide the fishing equipment you need and offer friendly guidance throughout the session.
If required, I can even collect you from Brighton, take you to a suitable local lake and return you after the session. Your collection point and any transport costs will be agreed before booking.
Visiting Brighton?
Brighton is one of Britain’s most popular seaside destinations and makes an excellent base for exploring Sussex.
If you don’t have your own transport, collection from your Brighton hotel, holiday accommodation or another agreed meeting point can be arranged where available.
I’ll take you to a suitable local lake, provide the necessary fishing equipment, bait and guide you throughout the session.
It’s an ideal way to enjoy something different away from the busier tourist attractions and experience the Sussex countryside.
Visiting London?
West Sussex is also within easy reach of London and can make a memorable addition to a holiday/vacation in the capital.
Direct trains from London Victoria Station to Brighton generally take around one hour.
The journey by car from central London normally takes approximately one and a half to two hours, depending on traffic and your starting point.
If you’re travelling from London, I can help you plan the most convenient station or meeting point and arrange the fishing venue around your journey.

If you’re visiting from the United States or another country where carp may not be widely regarded as a sport fish, you might be surprised by just how exciting British carp fishing can be.
Carp are powerful, cautious and intelligent fish. Hooking one can result in fast runs, powerful lunges and an exciting fight all the way to the landing net.
Catching them successfully involves much more than simply casting out and waiting. You’ll learn how to locate the fish, select your bait, present it effectively and adapt your tactics as the conditions change.
British carp fishing also offers the chance to slow down, relax and enjoy the countryside while still experiencing the anticipation of never knowing when the next bite will come.
All sessions are catch-and-release, with careful fish handling and fish welfare at the centre of the experience. You’ll also have the opportunity to take photographs with any fish you catch before returning them safely to the water.
You don’t need any previous fishing experience. I’ll explain everything clearly and help you throughout the session.

Parent and Child Sessions
There is no additional tuition charge for one parent or guardian fishing with one child or young person.
This makes the experience ideal for a dad and lad, mum and daughter, grandparent and grandchild or any parent-and-child combination wanting to enjoy a memorable day’s fishing together.
You will pay the same advertised tuition price as an individual booking. Separate fishery day-ticket charges or rod-licence requirements may still apply to each person, depending on their age and the venue.

Session Options
Day Session — From £200
10:00am–4:00pm
Six hours of fishing, equipment and friendly guidance at a suitable local venue.
Full-Day Session — From £250
8:00am–5:00pm
A complete day on the bank, giving you more fishing time and the opportunity to experience changing conditions throughout the day.
The advertised tuition price also covers one parent or guardian fishing with one child or young person, with no additional tuition charge.

A suitable venue and meeting or collection point will be agreed before your session. Any separate fishery charges, transport costs or other expenses will be clearly explained before you book.
Rod Licences for UK and Overseas Visitors
Anyone aged 13 or over fishing in freshwater in England requires a U.K Environment Agency rod fishing licence.
Short-term one-day and eight-day licences are available, making them suitable for tourists and overseas visitors. Children under 13 do not require a licence, while junior licences for those aged 13 to 16 are free but must still be registered.
